Photo #358, above, is of railroad tycoon Jay Gould 's yacht Atalanta. (It is NOT the same Atalanta which was the unsuccessful challenger for the fourth America's Cup in 1881.) This same photo appears in an article entitled "Atlantic Yacht Club" in the June 1899 issue of Outing magazine, captioned "Atalanta, the flagship of Ex-commodore George Gould. - Now in the Service of the U.S. Navy."
