Tom Nye writes us that Titania was rebuilt and converted to a schooner rig in 1893, and renamed Dagmar. He adds: "DAGMAR. Steel / c.b. Keel, Schooner - ex: TITANIA. L.O.A.: 96'0" x L.W.L.: 70'0" x Beam: 20'11" x Draft: 8'9"
Designer: Edward Burgess / Redesigned when rebuilt by Wm. Gardner. Builder / Rebuilder: Henry Piepgras. Owner: R. Inman, Cold Spring Harbor.
Rebuilt with a new bow and re-rigged as a schooner the Dagmar emerged a much different yacht than the once famous seventy footer, Titania."
