Vaquero III was one of the Newport 30s, built in 1895. A yacht named "Vaquero III" owned by H. B. Duryea was mentioned in both the August 1896 and September 1887 editions of Outing magazine. According to the August 1896 issue of Outing magazine, Vaquero was owned by W. G. Brokaw.
